TERMS OF USE FOR AUTHORISED USERS

GENERALI e-Learning Portal (the “Portal”) are owned and operated by GENERALI under the banner of eLearning LMS.  By assessing the Portal and any pages thereof, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. If you do not agree to be bound by all these Terms of Use, do not access or use the Services.

The Portal provides you an online learning platform with access to variety of resources, videos, tools, materials and information.  The portal including any updates, enhancements, and/or the addition of any new learning materials are subject to the Term of Use.

Unless otherwise specified, the Portal is for your personal and non-commercial use.  You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information obtained from the Portal.

Copyright in the pages and in the screens displaying the pages, and in the information and material therein and in their arrangement, is owned by Generali unless otherwise indicated.

PAYMENTS 

Fees may be payable for certain courses of the Portal. The amount of those fees and the payment terms will be notified to you prior to the relevant amount being charged to you.

You may cancel your account at any time by ceasing to access or use any of the Portal, or by otherwise following any instructions that we provide to you for cancelling your account.

User accounts that have not been logged into for a continuous period of 3 months will be deactivated and/or archived by the Portal.

GENERALI may update and change these Terms of Use in its sole discretion at any time.  When changes are made, GENERALI will make a new copy of the Terms of Use available on the Portal.  

Any such changes, if made by GENERALI, will be effective immediately for all new Users, and effective thirty (30) days after posting of notice of such changes on the Portal for all existing Users. 

Any User who does not agree to any changes in these Terms of Use after receiving notice of such changes shall notify the Training Department within thirty (30) days of the notice; otherwise, continued use of the Portal constitutes full acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.

The information and materials contained in the Portal, including text, graphics, links or other items are provided on an “AS IS”, “AS AVAILABLE” basis.  Generali does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information and materials and expressly disclaims liability for errors or omissions regarding the information and materials.

Please use reasonable online security precautions with regards to entering and using the Portal, including maintaining the security of usernames, passwords and any other access credentials assigned.  Access credentials may not be shared or given to anyone other than the User to whom they were assigned.

In no event will GENERALI be liable for any damages, including without limitation direct or indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, losses or arising in connection with the Portal or any linked site or use thereof or inability to use by any party, or in connection with failure of performance, error, omissions, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure, even if Generali or representatives thereof, are advised of the possibility of such damages, losses or expenses.
